Turquoise, a case manager at Doors of Change, dedicates their days to helping homeless youth find their footing. Turquoise navigates the complexities of their lives with empathy, offering a blend of practical support and genuine care.
More than 59% of Americans are just one paycheck away from homelessness. The youth (ages 17-24) we serve often have no support system, no safety net, and nowhere to turn.
Whether it’s helping with a car repair, providing a laptop for school or work, or covering an Uber to a job interview or mental health appointment, Doors of Change shows up.
Through intensive case management, we go beyond meeting immediate needs. We walk alongside each youth, helping them build stable, independent lives, step by step.
