As a board member at Doors of Change, I’ve seen firsthand how critical funding is to helping youth experiencing homelessness get off , and stay off the streets.

More than 59% of Americans are just one paycheck away from homelessness. The youth (ages 17-24) we serve often have no support system, no safety net, and nowhere to turn.

Whether it’s helping with a car repair, providing a laptop for school or work, or covering an Uber to a job interview or mental health appointment, Doors of Change shows up.

Through intensive case management, we go beyond meeting immediate needs. We walk alongside each youth, helping them build stable, independent lives, step by step.

This Giving Tuesday, please join me in supporting Doors of Change as we aim to raise $24,000 in 24 hours to celebrate 24 years of impact. Your gift brings hope to youth who are alone during the holidays and reminds them they are not forgotten.

We work nights, weekends, and holidays, because homelessness doesn’t take a day off. And neither do we.
