Recently I learned that one of the biggest obstacles unhoused youth are facing is access to reliable transportation. Situations where help with a car repair can mean a warm place to sleep for the night, or getting to work in the morning, or even making it to a health appointment, are often turned away. Transportation has unfortunately become a luxury that youth can no longer afford, and many times is the one thing keeping them from successfully moving away from homelessness.
